The Hairplus Policies

At The Hairplus, we thrive on providing each and every client the best possible service we can offer. That’s why we have some basic policies in place to ensure everyone enjoys The Hairplus experience. They’re not rules, they’re just some general things to keep in mind to make sure your experience with us goes as smoothly as possible.

Cancellations

At The Hairplus, it is a joy when you book with us and we look forward to your appointment. However, if you have to cancel or change your appointment, just let us know on time, 48 hours before your appointment. If you inform us less than 48 hours before your scheduled time, your deposit would not be refunded and cannot guarantee we’ll be able to slot you in. However if you are able to secure another booking immediately, you would have to pay half of the service charge. Want to find out more? Get in touch.

Running Late?

At The Hairplus we always encourage our clients to come in on time. However, if for any reason you may be delayed and thus will not be able to show up on time, kindly inform us but ensure to make an appearance. You would not be charged extra for showing up 20 minutes late, but your appointment time would be affected. After 20 minutes every additional 10 minutes is an extra £10. After an hour your appointment would be cancelled and your next booking would require half of the payment in advance.  If you pull a no show without informing, unfortunately your journey with The Hairplus would be terminated.

For Your Appointment

For all braids and leave out

We take a lot of pride in our work and work hard to give you the best, however it is in your best interest as well as ours to help us help you. Kindly come to any appointment with neatly washed hair and clean scalp. Failure to do this would incur an extra charge of £15.

Blow dried hair is optional, however if you would want us to do it for as a service it is for £10.

We do work with all hair types and lengths however if you have very short hair or damaged hair kindly consult with us regarding your preferred style before booking an appointment, on our instagram or whatsapp number. You may be asked for images.

For all braids

For any braid style requiring extensions, we work with pre-stretched hair as such if you decide to get your own extensions kindly get this. Stretching wastes a lot of time (30 minutes to an hour) during your appointment, plus bringing in your own extensions means we have to prep the hair also within your appointment time. 

We charge by the hour and so if guidelines are not followed and they cost us time it would attract an extra charge.

If for any reason, you have unstretched hair you want to use, it would only be accepted if you get it to us before your appointment.

For wigs

For wig caps, we are able to provide bundles, however you are at liberty to bring in your own bundles. The time given for wig caps starts after the bundles have arrived. For wig reconstruction, the price includes washing the hair bundles and taking out the tracks from the previous cap.
